An established and stable organisation in Milton Keynes are looking to hire a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The role will report directly to the Director of Finance. The salary on offer is up to £78,000 per annum plus company specific benefits which includes bonus, healthcare, car schemes and pension.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
Overseeing a financial operations team leading day to day, monthly and quarterly processes
Financial reporting including tax, statutory and IFRS
Leading the monthly close process, balance sheet controls, CAPEX and consolidated accounts
Acting as the main POC for all company tax queries including VAT and P11D's
Partnering external auditors throughout the annual close process
Seeking to improve internal controls and process where possible
Ad hoc reporting tasks when required
To be considered, applicants must:
Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with evidence of working within a Financial Controls and/or Financial Reporting position
Have experience of leading a team
Have strong technical accounting experience
Be willing to work onsite in Milton Keynes 3 days per week
