Band 6 Neonatal Clinical Skills Facilitator at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, Truro, Cornwall.
The neonatal unit is a high‑functioning level 2 unit with 20 cots (3 intensive care, 4 high dependency, and 13 special care cots) and state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coordinate, and deliver education and development for all registered and unregistered staff involved in neonatal care.
* Develop, review, and update neonatal education resources, competency frameworks, and training programmes.
* Support implementation and ongoing delivery of the Neonatal Foundation Programme (NFP) and the Neonatal Specialist Programme (NSP).
* Ensure a structured and high‑quality learning pathway for the neonatal workforce.
* Collaborate with the multi‑disciplinary team, the Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (ODN), and Trust education colleagues.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse or Midwife with full NMC registration.
* Two years of recent UK post‑registration experience in a Band 5 or 6 neonatal post, including some 1:1 teaching experience.
* Recognised post‑graduate qualification in Neonatal Nursing.
* Recognised post‑graduate Education qualification.
* Strong presentation skills.
