Pay and Hours
Our hourly rate starts at £13.35 and increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours a week, with flexible options down to 12 hours. Availability windows are listed below and will determine your scheduled shifts.

* Sat: 18:00 – 23:00
We offer 3‑week notice of your exact shifts and support flexible working. If the times you are available match closely, we remain interested.
Role Focus
As the face of Tesco on the road, you will meet customers in their homes, deliver orders, and provide excellent service. Your day will be varied, hands‑on and physically engaging – no two shifts are the same.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the van and trays are clean, tidy and roadworthy.
* Keep the back yard clean, pick up litter and keep the work area tidy.
* Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
* Load the van, check roadworthiness, and deliver during the customer’s time slot.
* Communicate any order changes or substitutions to the customer.
* Call the customer before arrival if early; call the store if 30+ minutes late.
* Treat products and deliveries as your own, and never charge extra for accepted substitutions.
Qualifications & Skills

* Ready to share improvement ideas with manager and peers.
* Valid UK/EU/EEA full or automatic driving licence, 12+ months, max 3 penalty points.
