Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Sutton Housing Partnership, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate per day which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Clerk of Works – Damp & Mould this role will be: SM1 4LE The right candidate will: * Carry out detailed inspections of social housing properties and communal areas * Assess the quality, standard, and completion of recently delivered major works * Identify maintenance issues including damp and mould, fire safety, and structural concerns * Recommend future planned maintenance and major works requirements * Work closely with contractors to ensure remedial works are completed to required standards * Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with specifications * Sign off completed works, ensuring quality and contractual standards are met * Provide expert Clerk of Works advice to the Planned Maintenance Team * Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation We require the following: * Proven experience as a Clerk of Works, Building Inspector, or Surveyor within housing or construction * Strong knowledge of building construction, repairs, and maintenance * Experience working within social housing or local authority environments To discuss this opport...
