Are you a Qualified Teacher or an experienced tutor with part-time availability from September?
Our Tutor role will give you the opportunity to work flexibly with students outside the classroom.
We are looking to appoint skilled qualified teachers and experienced tutors, to teach and mentor students who are unable to access mainstream learning and require one-to-one support throughout the academic year.
We are keen to hear from applicants who:
* have a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum
* are able to engage learners creatively
* are supportive and compassionate
* are confident teaching 1:1
* are open to flexible schedules
The post requires face to face teaching in allocated spaces outside of school, during school hours, with a minimum of a term’s commitment and upwards of two to three days availability per week. We also work with students afterschool, in the family home.
Typical roles include:
* Alternative Provision Tuition (School or Local Authority funded)
* Children in Care Tuition (School or Local Authority funded)
* SENCO Referred Tuition (School or Local Authority funded)
* Private Tuition (Family funded)
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with students who are in need of additional support. Our Tutors make a real difference in the lives of our young people and offer huge support to their wellbeing and educational outcomes
