About the Department
Part of Estates and Facilities Department, Conference Services aim to sell all available space for a range of events and conferences, including residential conferences and summer schools, generating income for the University.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of summer school groups, conference bookings and individual lets; coordinating administrative duties and communicating with other university departments as well as our summer school partners to ensure that all event requirements are met and helping to ensure that their experience of Goldsmiths is positive. In addition, you will be assisting with large conference bookings on campus and updating electronic records where necessary.
About the Candidate
You should be familiar with all MS Office applications, have a high level of literacy, high attention to detail and effective communications skills.
The standard hours of work will be 35 hours per week. Weekends, early morning and evening work may be included in the 5 days’ work for which time off in lieu will be given at a time agreed with the Commercial Services Operations Manager.
