A school located in Essex, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their specialist team from September. This full-time, permanent role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need your support, structure, and care the most.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create a supportive and structured learning environment
* Deliver adapted and engaging lessons to students with SEMH needs
* Use effective behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs
* Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to meet EHCP targets
* Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
* Track progress and adapt teaching plans accordingly
* Contribute to whole-school wellbeing and community initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (essential)
* Experience teaching or supporting students with SEMH (preferred)
* Strong classroom management and de-escalation skills
* A resilient, nurturing, and patient approach to teaching
* Ability to build positive relationships with students facing complex challenges
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
* Passion for helping students achieve both academically and personally
