Job Title: GCSE SEN Outreach Tutor
Location: England, Greater London, Barking
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at the GCSE level
* Create individualised lesson plans to meet the specific learning needs of each student
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote student participation and understanding
* Assess students' progress and provide feedback to both students and parents/carers
* Collaborate with SEN coordinators and other professionals to develop strategies for student success
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN, particularly at the GCSE level
* Excellent knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience
* In-depth understanding of SEN strategies and best practises
* Proficient in using technology to enhance learning experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a similar outreach tutoring role
* Additional certifications in specific learning interventions
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule
* Work primarily in student's homes or local libraries
* Potential travel within the area may be required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
