Our client is looking for Enforcement Officers who want to leave the office behind and get out into the community. If you’re passionate about keeping public areas clean and want to make a real difference, this is your chance.
You’ll be on the frontline—patrolling neighbourhoods, working with your team and local residents, and making sure waste and litter rules are followed. You’ll educate the public, support campaigns, issue fixed penalty notices, and see enforcement cases through when needed.
You’ll need to be comfortable working both out in the field and in the office, confident dealing with people, and happy tackling a variety of tasks. Strong communication skills are a must, as is a hands-on, adaptable approach.
If you’re ready for a fresh challenge where your efforts matter every day, we’d love to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:
You thrive both in the office and out on the streets, confident handling everything from paperwork to face-to-face conversations with the public. Your communication skills help you connect easily with everyone from residents to local businesses, and you know how to get your message across clearly.
What you’ll be doing
1. Make sure local laws and community standards are being followed.
2. Team up with colleagues, residents, and operational staff to get things done out in the field.
3. Patrol your designated areas regularly to spot, prevent, and deal with any issues.
4. Record your findings and actions in clear, detailed reports.
5. Work alongside local police whenever extra support is needed.
6. Respond swiftly and professionally to concerns raised by the public.
7. Offer guidance and raise awareness within the community about local rules and best practices.
8. Keep your records organised and always up to date.
9. Take part in ongoing training to develop your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What we’re looking for
10. Confident handling tricky situations and able to take the lead when needed.
11. Great at writing clear, accurate reports.
12. Excellent with people—always approachable and professional.
13. Happy to work independently as well as being a valued part of the team.
14. Some knowledge of local laws is an advantage, but training will be given.
15. A full UK driving licence is required for some roles.
16. Experience in enforcement or a similar setting is useful, but if you’ve got the right attitude and work ethic, we can train you up.
The details
17. Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:45—early starts, early finish
18. Pay rate: per hour, plus paid overtime available
19. Weekly pay—money in your account every week
20. Steady hours with weekends free
21. Full training and ongoing support for your career
22. Real variety—no two days are the same, and you’ll be making a difference in your local area
