At DHU Health Care, we are looking for an experience Senior Information Requests Officer to take the lead on all Data subject rights and other third- party data requests received by DHU Health care to ensure compliance with GDPR and associated legislative requirements, in addition, providing support to the wider organisation in relation to the compliance and provisions of personal data and business level data for freedom on information requests
What your typical day looks like:
1. Leading on and being responsible for processing the requests and enquiries made under the data protections act and GDPR in line with internal DHU policies and procedures and UK data protections legislation
2. Giving detailed consideration to complex requests and apply appropriate redaction/ exemptions as outlined in the data protection act and DHU policies and procedures
3. Managing a varied and complex workload, prioritising tasks across multiple information requests and taking decisions on redactions, erasures and restrictions
4. Acting as a key point of contact and assist DHU information governance and data protections team in collation of cross cutting DPA requests, enquiries and complaints
