The Role
As Workshop Controller at our Leicester site, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth, efficient operation of the workshop. You’ll coordinate workloads, ensure repair quality, and lead a team of technicians to deliver safe, accurate, and timely repairs every time.
Key Responsibilities
18. Manage and allocate daily workloads across the workshop team
19. Monitor team productivity, quality of work, and repair timelines
20. Liaise with Vehicle Damage Assessors (VDAs), parts, and front-of-house to ensure seamless workflow
21. Motivate and lead technicians, supporting performance, training, and development
22. Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry quality standards
What We’re Looking For
23. Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician
24. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
25. High attention to detail and a commitment to repair quality
26. Sound understanding of accident repair processes and workshop operations
27. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
