We’re currently recruiting for a Liability Data Analyst to join us here at L&G.As a Liability Data Analyst you will work within our Onboarding Administration team and help to shape the future of pension risk transfer. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your analytical skills and attention to detail will make a real impact.
This is a hybrid working opportunity which will allow you to split your working week between your home and the office to find a work/life balance that works for you.What you'll be doing:
1. Managing operational data across cleansing, validation, transformation, integration and mining
2. Consulting with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver data solutions
3. Improving data quality across systems to support accurate decision-making
4. Supporting process testing and documentation in line with UK PRT requirements
5. Maintaining audit trails for all benefit and data items throughout the customer lifecycle
6. Following agreed processes to ensure consistency and compliance
7. Collaborating with colleagues across teams to enhance service delivery
8. Communicating key updates to internal customers and third parties to support excellent outcomes
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
9. Holding a degree in Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience
10. Understanding defined benefit pension schemes and related legislation
11. Demonstrating strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
12. Using advanced MS Excel confidently and effectively
13. Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, SAS or SQL
14. Delivering high-quality MI solutions like dashboards and reports
15. Managing priorities and working to tight deadlines
16. Focusing on customer needs and building strong relationships
