We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Scheduler to coordinate and support a team of service engineers operating across the North West region. This is a key role within our operations team, ensuring efficient deployment of engineers to meet customer demands while maintaining high service standards.
SchedulerKey Responsibilities:
* Schedule and coordinate the daily activities of service engineers across the North West area.
* Manage incoming service requests, prioritising tasks based on urgency, location, and resource availability.
* Act as the main point of contact between engineers and clients, ensuring smooth communication and updates on service times.
* Optimise routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
* Monitor and track job progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to SLAs.
* Handle reactive and planned maintenance bookings.
* Maintain accurate records of job details, engineer availability, and customer communications.
* Provide support in managing emergencies or last-minute changes to the schedule.
SchedulerRequirements:
* Proven experience in a similar scheduler, coordinator, or dispatch role.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and dynamic workload.
* Excellent prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience in a service or engineering environment preferred.
* Calm under pressure with a proactive and adaptable approach.
* Ability to build strong relationships with Customers
