We're Hiring – Convenience Store & Post Office Assistant
We're looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team This role involves serving customers at the shop and Post Office counter simultaneously, in an established family run business, keeping the shop clean and welcoming and making sure shelves are well stocked.
What you'll be doing:
* Helping customers with a smile
* Keeping the shop tidy and organised
* Restocking products and keeping displays looking great
* Handling stock deliveries
* Working confidently on your own in a busy environment
* Serving on Post Office counter with roles handling of parcels to processing of banking transactions including cash deposits and withdrawals
What we're looking for:
* Previous retail experience essential (Post Office experience is a bonus)
* Polite, punctual, and confident working independently
* Confidence in cash handling
* High Level of customer service skills
* Available to for holiday cover
* Must be flexible to work on different days including 2 Saturdays per month.
* Usual shift pattern will consist of 2x days (Monday to Saturday) and you must be available for holiday cover on other days as and when needed
