Engineering Support Operative, GXO Castle Donington. Working rotating 12-hour days and nights. Excellent company benefits to include private health care and company contributory pension scheme.
* We are seeking a dedicated individual responsible for responding promptly to all faults, both reactively and proactively, within the workplace, while carrying out preventative maintenance checks to reduce jams and faults.
* You will support engineering tasks under supervision and perform basic tool-level reactive/preventative repairs.
* The successful candidate will be the first line of contact when faults occur, responsible for reporting these issues and escalating them to the appropriate engineering team member.
* You will provide support to engineers, report defects, and offer suggestions for product improvement.
* The Engineering Support Operative will contribute to product knowledge, facilitating easier future technical support.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
* Willing to work at height
* Able to climb a 30-metre vertical ladder (with WAH training)
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability through relevant experience
* Relevant experience in machinery and maintenance environments
