Job Responsibilities Provide intensive 'End to End' support for individuals who are rough sleeping with complex needs. Advocate and enable access to appropriate services, including housing, by collaborating with existing delivery structures and local networks. Work as an outreach worker to assist individuals facing complex needs such as housing issues, substance misuse, offending behaviour, mental health, and physical health challenges. Facilitate one-to-one and group interventions to help clients address problematic alcohol and drug use. Support individuals in the community to foster positive lifestyle changes that aid in their recovery. Build resilience and confidence in clients, equipping them with personal and social assets to meet their aspirations. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in outreach work or support services for individuals with complex needs. Strong understanding of issues related to homelessness, substance misuse, mental health, and offending behaviour. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards individuals facing challenges. Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, or a related field are desirable. Knowledge of local services and resources available for individuals experiencing homelessness. Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting, with attention to detail.
