About the role
We are seeking a fun-loving and energetic experienced maintenance officer, located at St. Clare retirement village. It is a great opportunity to commence in September and get trained and involve in building completion/handovers. On a regular basis, you will work with VMCH through defect liability period and liaise with builder and manage the maintenance requests for the site and liaise with staff, residents and contractors and suppliers. This role is full time and reports to the Facilities Manager.
About you
You will be an experienced Maintenance Officer, have outstanding customer service and communication to deal with a variety of stakeholders. You will be super organised and follow up on requests to ensure a satisfactory resolution, To be considered and successful for this role, you will need:
1. Background in building and facilities maintenance, knowledge of using computers & BMS systems
2. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security and lighting systems (An All-rounder)
3. Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills
4. Experience in liaising with management & residents onsite to achieve desired outcomes
5. Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise conflicting demands.
6. Previous asset management experience and or experience with asset management software
7. Experience in retirement living - highly desirable
8. Current unrestricted Victorian Driver's license
