In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business, which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.
With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments.

In this role, you have the opportunity to
* Partner with key suppliers/contract manufacturers to develop and improve processes, tools, and equipment across the supply chain, leading to predictable, reliable, and efficient production, order, materials, and distribution/logistics processes. Drive new product industrialization projects at supplier sites.
* Review, escalate, and implement product changes with suppliers, including materials, equipment, and process updates.
* Pursue continuous improvement in Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS).
You will be responsible for:
* Conduct qualification and surveillance audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with Philips Emergency Care standards.
* Drive supplier performance management and provide feedback to ensure systems, methods, and reporting meet expectations.
* Ensure products and services from suppliers meet specifications and quality requirements.
* Lead and support product development lifecycle management, including DfMAT.
* Initiate and execute Capex optimization for investments.
You're right for this role if you have:
* A BS in Engineering or a related technical field, with a preference for supply chain, operations, or engineering majors.
* Experience in Supply Chain Operations, supplier management, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, product development, and quality management practices.
* Proficiency in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
* Experience working with supplier leadership to meet business and customer needs.
* Ability to work remotely in a cross-functional environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes.
