Role Overview:
The role involves ensuring efficient, safe yard operations, serving customers, and operating forklifts to prepare and load orders. You will provide high-quality customer service with product knowledge and advice. Branch hours are Mon-Thu 07:30-17:00, Fri 07:30-16:00, Sat 08:00-12:00, with flexible working patterns considered.
Responsibilities:
* Uphold health and safety regulations
* Serve customers face-to-face, both independently and as part of a team
* Prepare orders for collection and delivery, complete sales documentation
* Load/unload vehicles manually and with forklift
* Check and store goods correctly, manage stock levels, and assist with stocktakes
Candidate Requirements:
* Approachable, team-oriented, with a passion for customer service
* Willing to learn, with basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Proactive attitude
* Previous experience in a similar role and forklift license preferred
