Job Duties:
* Provide support to Year 6 children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
* Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for pupils
* Support students with their learning activities and personal care needs
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
Relevant teaching assistant qualification
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working with children with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN support strategies
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a classroom environment with Year 6 students with SEN. The work is full-time and temporary, requiring flexibility and a compassionate approach towards supporting student learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
