ITAM Specialist - Contract Role
Location: Bradford, Yorkshire
Working Arrangement: On site, 5 days per week, inside IR35
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: Up to £375
A leading utilities organisation is seeking an experienced ITAM Specialist to take ownership of its IT asset management function. This is a hands-on role covering the full life cycle of hardware, software, cloud services and licences, while supporting major change and rollout activity across the business.
You'll be the go-to expert for asset governance, data accuracy and compliance, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to ensure the organisation maintains a robust, efficient and audit-ready asset estate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day IT asset administration, including creation, updates, moves, disposals and reconciliation against purchase records and inventories.
2. Support and when required, lead rollout activity such as device refresh programmes, OS upgrades, application deployments and SaaS onboarding.
3. Ensure all assets are correctly built, tagged, assigned and recorded throughout their life cycle.
4. Investigate and resolve asset-related issues including missing or duplicate records, ownership conflicts, build discrepancies and non-compliance findings.
