Temporary Communications Assistant Your new company Based in Suffolk, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape a newly created contract position supporting a busy construction business. Your new role This is a new and exciting temporary Communications Assistant where you will enable this organisation to meet their key contract aim of ensuring high-quality services. This will include improving public perception of the service, being responsible for responding to customer enquiries and assisting with internal and external communications where required. This role will involve working closely with key contract stakeholders, including customers, Council, local Councillors, members of the public, local businesses, and highways authorities. What you'll need to succeed Excellent organisational, communication, administration and customer service skills. Comfortable dealing directly with local Councillors and members of the public. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity in all situations and to effectively influence decision-making. Forward-thinking, and capable of thinking ahead and planning. Able to generate new ideas which will be workable, realistic, and resilient to future changes. What you'll get in return Part-time – 20 hours per week. Ideally, working 5 days a week, but 3 days a week will be considered. The start date is 2nd February and an expected duration through to the end of August.
