HGV Class 2 Driver – Days – Aston People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Aston, Birmingham, West Midlands. Shifts Monday to Friday: Start times between 03:00 and 06:00 Rates of Pay £16.00 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Complete store deliveries involving handball Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required Use electric or manual pump truck and tail lift Complete one trip per shift with approximately 7–8 deliveries or collections Essential Skills Valid UK Category C Licence Minimum of 24 months' Class 2 driving experience No more than six penalty points (no major endorsements) Valid UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards Good spoken and written English Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Excellent communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Industry-related training provided on company processes and procedures Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
