Role Overview
A leading UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its expanding Corporate team in London. Acting as a cornerstone within the department, you will play a key role in managing complex transactional work, supervising junior colleagues, and supporting partners on high-value matters.
This is an opportunity to work on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including M&A, equity fundraising, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and company reorganisations, while contributing to the team’s strategic growth in London.
Candidate Profile/Experience needed
The ideal candidate will be:
1. A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law gained within private practice.
2. Experienced in running corporate transactions from start to finish, including due diligence processes, drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, and managing completion.
3. Skilled in supervising junior fee earners and coordinating external advisers.
4. Commercially minded with the ability to adapt legal advice to meet clients’ business needs.
5. Organised, with strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
6. Ambitious, proactive, and able to build trusted relationships with clients and referrers.
