At Targeted Provision, we collaborate with schools and local authorities to support young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. We’re looking for dedicated Core Subject Tutors and Teachers in Maths, English, or Science who are ready to make a real difference in their communities!

Requirements for SEND Tutors and Teachers:
* Experience: 2+ years in teaching, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD
* Subjects: Proficiency in teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this) and 2+ professional references
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment
Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Deliver in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with SEND and SEMH needs
* Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring
* Provide regular feedback on student progress and report on lessons

Relevant Experience:
If you have experience in roles such as:
* SENDCo (Special Education Needs Coordinator)
* SLD/MLD Teacher
* Autism/ADHD Support Teacher
* Intervention Specialist/Tutor
* Ex-Teacher
Or from a therapeutic and learning support background, including:
* Learning Support Assistant (LSA)/Teaching Assistant (TA)
* Educational Therapist
* Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)
* Educational Psychologist (EP)
* Inclusion Coordinator
