* You drive improvements in how we attract, engage, and develop our people – enhancing both employee experience and organisational performance.


What You’ll Be Doing

As an HR Operations Partner, you’ll work closely with the Head of HR and Divisional Directors to deliver proactive, commercially focused HR support across BWB. You’ll be involved in all areas of the employee lifecycle — from resourcing, onboarding, and performance management to employee relations, wellbeing, and learning and development.

* Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on organisational design, succession planning, and talent management and development.
* Lead on employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and compliance with UK employment law.
* Partner with the business to build capability, enhance engagement, and promote a high‑performance culture.
* Identify and implement HR process improvements that drive efficiency and value.
* Use data and insights to inform decisions and shape people strategy at divisional level.

Ultimately, you’ll help deliver an efficient, effective, and trusted HR service that supports our people and drives BWB’s continued success.


What You’ll Bring

* HR Expertise: Experienced HR Advisor or Business Partner, ideally within Civil Engineering, Environmental Consultancy, or Professional Services.
* Employment Law: Sound knowledge of UK employment law and confident case‑management experience.
* CIPD: Ideally level 5 or studying towards.
* Business Partnering: Ability to build strong, influential relationships with senior leaders.
* Leadership & Development: Natural leadership qualities and a passion for helping others grow.
* Commercial Focus: Data‑driven, commercially minded, and confident using HRIS, Excel, Power BI, Canva, PageTiger, and MS Teams.
* Continuous Improvement: Always looking for ways to simplify, enhance, drive efficiency and modernise HR processes.
* Financial Awareness: Understands costs and identifies opportunities for efficiencies and savings.
