Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
5. Monitor and control financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Prepare variance analysis and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
7. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to meet internal and external requirements.
8. Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective cost management.
10. Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
12. Proven expertise in preparing and analysing management accounts.
13. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
14. Experience within the production sector is highly desirable.
15. Proficiency in financial systems and software, with excellent Excel skills.
16. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
17. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
