Job Description
Reporting to the Campaign Marketing Manager, the main role is to drive sales of our extensive dental product portfolio by coordinating and uploading all promotions onto the relevant systems, conducting campaign analysis and managing marketing rebate claims.
You will need excellent attention to detail and intermediate‑to‑advanced Excel skills to ensure all information is up to date and accurate. You will also produce ROI and success analysis of all product campaigns, using advanced Excel techniques, sales data and bespoke business systems.
Attention to detail, deadlines and a keen mind for data are vital. This is a fast‑paced environment with many moving parts within great marketing teams. The role requires a creative mind, data manipulation skills, the ability to manage and manipulate data, and the capacity to multi‑task and manage campaigns without compromising on deadlines or accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
* Handle the internal processes and systems, including uploading data and promotions to the sales system, and work directly with the eCommerce team.
* Liaise with the marketing teams to identify current promotions and upload them to the sales system.
* Use pricing spreadsheets and understand margins at a basic level.
* Maintain excellent Excel skills and a strong aptitude for data manipulation, measurement, and analysis of large data sets.
* Prepare marketing reports as required, including ROI on campaigns and promotional activity, and manipulate sales data to analyse marketing activity and highlight findings.
* Prepare, raise, and send invoices and stock claims to suppliers.
* Keep the marketing database up to date, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
* Raise purchase orders.
* Manage the administration of the advertising programme for the team, ensuring no deadlines are missed, keeping our schedule up to date, and negotiating with suppliers to secure best pricing.
* Provide day‑to‑day administration support to the marketing team (e.g., filing, photocopying, mailing).
* Exercise flawless spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
Additional Responsibilities
* Assist with any other marketing activities as required.
* Attend training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required.
* Perform various monthly administrative tasks.
* Maintain an enthusiastic team spirit, be approachable and helpful to vendors and other departments.
* Aid the Events team to keep the marketing area tidy and pack materials for events.
* Attend external events and exhibitions as directed (infrequent).
Job Skills & Experience Required
Essential Skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of data interpretation, manipulation and interrogation, with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate‑to‑advanced level (Sort, Filter, Basic formulas, margins, PivotTables & V‑lookups).
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Strong multi‑tasking abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines (organisational and prioritising ability).
Desirable Skills
* Creative flair.
* Analytical and commercial skills and acumen.
Useful Skills
* Experience with QlikView.
* Experience of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software system, such as JD Edwards or SAP.
Education & Qualifications
* Preferably a degree level education; CIM or other marketing or business qualifications are acceptable.
* Must study and pass the BDIA Introduction to Dentistry course.
