ERP Technical Delivery Analyst
Hybrid – attached to the Solihull office

Serco is seeking an ERP Technical Analyst to advise and support the technical elements of ERP projects and support significant (P1/P2) tickets. The role will primarily support SAP and other non-SAP platforms, focusing on reducing technical debt, ensuring solution quality before deployment, and providing stability to environments. The ERP Technical Analyst will support integration design patterns and advise on ERP (SAP) architecture construction.
This role involves working with a small team of technical experts to ensure systems are up-to-date with security patches, cyber threats, and application updates. You will advise ERP leadership on technical risks and support the operation of a complex ERP system, playing a key role in future transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance and Engagement:
* Develop and implement governance frameworks for the technical aspects of ERP.
* Ensure seamless operation of stakeholder engagement platforms.
* Support business initiatives to adopt innovative solutions.
Architecture and Design:
* Support the definition and documentation of technical architecture and strategy.
* Maintain technical documentation and design patterns.
* Administer control artifacts for servers, integrations, and developments.
Budget, Finance, and Recharges:
* Manage technical debt and spend forecasts.
Contracts and Commercials:
BAU (Business As Usual):
* Deliver high-quality BAU services and handle issues as needed.
* Assist with patch management, audits, and incident handling.
SIP (Service Improvement and Problem management):
* Resolve technical problems and contribute to service improvements.
Project Management:
* Ensure effective delivery of technical components in projects.
Delivery:
* Ensure quality of design outputs.
* Support incident, service request, and problem resolution.
* Coordinate system patching activities across teams.
Candidate Requirements:
* Extensive experience with SAP technical platforms and architecture.
* Knowledge of SAP Basis, ABAP, PI/PO, and functional areas like SD, HR, Payroll.
* Understanding of industry standards and best practices.
* Experience in SAP transformation programs and working with SAP and non-SAP partner products.
* Experience managing offshore/outsourced SAP support teams.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
