Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role in Chorlton-cum-Hardy
Teaching Personnel is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy. This is a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring they have the guidance and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Providing one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
* Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and supported.
* Helping students develop their study skills, confidence, and subject knowledge across a range of subjects.
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) by adapting learning materials and providing targeted interventions.
* Assisting with exam preparation, including revision sessions and practice assessments.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons by implementing effective classroom management strategies.
* Preparing lesson resources and materials to support learning.
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers to tailor support accordingly.
* Assisting in extra-curricular activities, enrichment programmes, and intervention sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
* A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred).
* A genuine interest in education, student development, and supporting young people.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to working with students of varying abilities.
