Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Head and Neck Department for an Apprentice Medical Secretary within the Ear, Nose and Throat team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive typing and administrational service to members of the team in order to assist in the achievement of departmental objectives.


Responsibilities

* Provide clinic typing, telephone enquiries, admin support and non‑admitted PTL duties.
* Organise and prioritise workload effectively, working independently on own initiative.
* Work closely with the team to deliver a high‑quality service, utilising good typing, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.


Training

* Undertake a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship alongside the role.
* Enjoy one day per week protected study time to complete assignments and attend classes with a tutor.


Qualifications & Skills

* Excellent communication skills.
* Organised and methodical approach to duties.
* Enjoy a driven secretarial role within the Head and Neck team.
