Service Engineer (Lift Industry)
Salary: Up to £52k base (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer on behalf of a leading organisation within the lift industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working on a varied portfolio of lift equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safe operation of lifts while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across your assigned portfolio, ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and reliable
* Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs within agreed SLAs
* Aim to achieve first-time fixes to minimise downtime and disruption
* Undertake minor repairs to maintain ongoing operation and prevent escalation
* Accurately use field management systems to record work in real time and ensure job completion
* Identify and report additional repair, upgrade, or modernisation opportunities
* Support neighbouring areas where required
* Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours emergency support
* Deliver excellent on-site customer service, maintaining a professional and approachable manner
* Adhere to all health, safety, compliance, and quality standards at all times
About You
Essential Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Service, Maintenance, or Repair
* Solid experience as a Service or Callout Engineer
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
* Good understanding of industry health and safety regulations
* Full UK driving licence
