Overview
Job Role: Responsible for identifying training needs, designing, delivering, and maintaining technical training solutions that support the development of digital capability across the organisation. This role ensures that employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively use business systems, tools, and technologies. The Technical L&D Partner works closely with IT, operational teams, and external vendors to ensure training is aligned with system changes, digital transformation initiatives, and business goals. The role also supports the development of digital learning content, system onboarding, and technical upskilling pathways.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver technical training programmes aligned with business systems and tools.
* Assess the current level of technical understanding across all relevant departments and develop targeted upskilling pathways that support operational performance.
* Support onboarding and upskilling for digital platforms, including system walkthroughs and user support.
* Collaborate with IT and business leads to ensure training reflects current and future system functionality.
* Develop and maintain technical training materials, guides, and digital content.
* Deliver training in line with the Measures of Excellence developed by the Central L&D Team.
* Act as a subject matter expert for technical learning across the organisation.
* Support the rollout of new systems, products and upgrades through training and change enablement.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and system updates.
* Maintain accurate records of technical training delivery and completion.
* Development Programmes & Training Needs Analysis
* Deliver engaging and accessible technical training sessions in-person, virtually, and through digital platforms.
* Line manage L&D team members, providing coaching, support, and regular performance reviews.
* Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant, and accessible.
