Overview
The National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit, Clinical Trials Unit (NPEU CTU) is looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Trial Administrator to join the team to support the smooth running of trials. The post holder will work closely with the Senior Trials Managers, Trial Managers and the Trial Programmers to assist with all aspects of trial management and project delivery. This will include setting up new sites, obtaining regulatory approvals and ensuring that data systems are maintained to the highest level of integrity at all times. The post is based within the Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH), which provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The NPEU is an internationally recognised, multi-disciplinary research unit based within the NDPH at the University of Oxford, Old Road Campus in Headington, Oxford, and undertakes research about pregnancy, childbirth and new-born babies.
To be considered for the Clinical Trial Administrator post, you will have experience working on a clinical trial or in medical research, with an understanding of clinical research methodology, good clinical practice, knowledge of all UK regulations for clinical trials, GDPR and the research governance framework. You will also have proven administrative, data and project management skills as well as excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
The post is part time (0.8 FTE) and fixed term for 1 year. The closing date for applications is noon on 27th October 2025 with interviews expected to take place on 11th or 12th November 2025.
