Job Role As a Key Account Manager, you will work within the Sales & Marketing team, managing the global distributor network. Your responsibilities include managing existing customers, seeking new global partners, and representing the company at exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
Main Duties
* Manage the global ATL agent/distributor network, ensuring contractual engagement, compliance, and performance according to business strategy.
* Support processing of sales from the ATL agent/distributor network where necessary.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of selected distributors and accounts.
* Communicate with customers regarding technical sales requirements.
* Coordinate with the Design team to ensure all information is provided during inquiries and final designs meet customer needs.
* Handle general sales duties, ensuring timely and accurate enquiries and order processing.
* Prepare quotations, follow up, and gather feedback on rejected quotes.
* Maintain up-to-date client contact details within Factory Master.
* Develop understanding of ATL product range to address customer inquiries effectively.
* Research and pursue new sales opportunities via web, magazines, or word of mouth.
* Assist with export activities and requirements as needed.
* Represent ATL at exhibitions, circuit events, and customer visits.
* Maintain accurate CRM and PLM system data.
* Respond daily to chase emails to manage order processes.
* Support the Finance team to ensure timely receivables and resolve issues.
* Complete fortnightly reports for the Head of Sales.
* Implement environmentally sustainable practices in line with company policies.
* Seek ways to reduce waste and energy consumption.
You may be required to perform additional tasks as needed by the business.
Job Requirements
* An engineering-based degree or BTEC qualification is advantageous.
* Relevant industry knowledge or experience.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience in a B2B role is essential.
* Experience in the Motorsport industry is desirable.
Package
* Salary between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
