Main purpose of the role
* Providing excellent customer care in all care pathways used in the store
* Equipment/technical setups and completion of delegated tasks
* Perform diagnostic/pre-assessment procedures under the supervision of the optometrist
* Perform digital imaging and OCT scan capture
* Perform visual field testing following the attending optometrist’s instructions
Essential Skills
* Excellent customer communication skills
* Confident to seek guidance and support when needed
Main Responsibilities
* Provide clear explanation of the appointment to the customer
* Ensure data protection and regulatory rules are explained and followed
* Complete the necessary diagnostics with the customer whilst adhering to IPC and PPE guidelines
* Ensure the customer is comfortable and aware of what to expect at each stage of their journey
