Job Purpose
Drive the growth of Ramtech’s product portfolio by identifying and developing new market opportunities across the UK, with primary focus on our industry-leading wireless fire alarm system and cloud-based monitoring solution.
Collaborate closely with the product team to capture the voice of the customer and align with global sales strategies.
Engage with clients and industry bodies to influence fire safety standards and contribute to the development of new guidance.
Support the creation of recurring revenue through subscription-based models and forge strategic partnerships both within our Halma group and externally. A strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation are essential.
Job role specific Accountabilities
* Ensure a “one team” approach in order to achieve our sales strategy.
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to deliver the sales targets and develop the growth of the UK market.
* Role model the Company values in pursuant of the Company Vision, mission and objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all Ramtech policies & procedures, including health & Safety, ISO Quality Standards, Information Security, and customer codes of practice.
* Develop and maintain client relationships, as appropriate, in pursuant of the Sales Strategy.
Functional Accountabilities
* Deliver the Business Development Sales target for the UK.
* Develop and implement a plan to secure sustainable business growth in new markets.
* Assist the product team to develop new products for targeted markets.
* Seek and conduct professional face-to-face and virtual meetings with prospects and clients.
* Develop and fine tune value propositions based on client feedback.
* Promptly respond to all customer queries and requests.
* Ensure effective management of the Business Development opportunity pipeline.
* Compose and secure winning client bids.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with all customers to ensure an excellent level of service and customer satisfaction.
* Keep up to date with market activity, prices, trends and adapt strategy accordingly.
* Feedback any relevant market information to the UK Sales Manager.
* Draw up and put in place supply agreements with new customers.
* Support customers with product advice and training where necessary.
* Ensure accurate sales forecasting.
* Provide a monthly report to the UK Sales Manager on performance against target and KPI’s.
* Manage accounts and budgets to achieve agreed sales, revenue & profit targets for the role.
* Develop networks for Ramtech’s product range.
* Report to the Head Office all contractual obligations.
* Fulfil all other objectives set by the UK Sales Manager to deliver the sales strategy.
Skills
* Excellent communication and empathetic listening.

Experience
* Proficient in value-based selling.
* Proven track record in selling both hardware and software solutions to blue chip clients.
* Value selling and other leading solution sales techniques.
* Composing and closing winning client bids and supply agreements.
* Collaboration on development of ‘client led’ technology products.
* Experience in the construction sector is preferred.
* Other sectors considered, fire, security, marine and energy.
