Fairmead are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced SHEQ Manager to join a growing construction business specialising in high-quality residential housing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about promoting best practice in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining compliance, driving improvements, and embedding a strong safety-first culture throughout the organisation. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage Health & Safety plans in coordination with site and project managers. * Carry out regular safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented. * Lead incident investigations and produce detailed reports. * Oversee environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives. * Support ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 implementation and maintenance. * Deliver SHEQ training, toolbox talks, and promote continuous improvement. About You: * Proven experience in a SHEQ management role within residential construction or housebuilding. * NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) is essential. * Strong knowledge of H&S, environmental regulations, and ISO standards. * Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels. * Proactive and hands-on approach with a passion for creating safe, sustainable working environments.
