Working collaboratively with engineering and construction teams, you'll play a vital role in managing environmental risks and ensuring compliance, making a real impact on sustainable project delivery. What you’ll be doing: Champion the Enabling Lead role by promoting early involvement in projects and providing training on environmental and enabling requirements. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (e.g. SHEA, Procurement, Digital, Legal, and Environmental) to align enabling activities. Maintain and update enabling processes to ensure legal compliance, including ISO14001, and communicate changes across the business. Lead enabling resource management, including allocation, scheduling, and strategic recruitment to meet project and regulatory demands. Provide technical and environmental support to project teams, advising on design compliance and environmental best practices. Oversee project delivery tasks, such as risk assessments, permit coordination, survey management, and ensuring environmental mitigation is embedded in design. Drive continuous improvement by mentoring Enabling Leads, incorporating feedback, and aligning with industry best practices and legislative changes. Support digital and supplier engagement, ensuring tools and reports meet required standards to effectively aid project delivery. What you’ll bring: ✅ Prior experience of working in an Enabling (and/or EIA Co-ordinator) role ✅ Ability to work flexibly across several projects and to meet required deadlines without direct supervision ✅ Experience in using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) packages (ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo) for geoprocessing and visualisation of data ✅ Knowledge of key environmental legislation ✅ Document production abilities using various software inc Visio, PowerBi, excel, word, GIS, powerpoint Our vision and values: The @One Alliance is more than just a delivery organisation—it’s a movement.
