GSL Education are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology (D&T) who can inspire students through practical learning, problem-solving, and hands-on creativity for schools across Nottingham (NG5). This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys guiding students from concept to creation while developing real-world skills.
What You’ll Be Bringing to the Classroom as a DT Teacher:
* Deliver engaging D&T lessons across materials, design, and manufacture
* Guide students through the design process, from planning to evaluation
* Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking
* Support safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and materials
* Adapt learning to suit different abilities and learning styles
* Create a practical, well-organised, and motivating learning environment
The Kind of D&T Teacher Schools Are Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching D&T or related subjects
* Confident managing practical lessons and workshop settings
* Creative, organised, and solution-focused approach
* Strong classroom presence and clear expectations
* Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
