Junior Project Engineer role in Ramsgate. Responsibilities
* Supporting tender surveys and preparing quotations for special and maintenance projects
* Scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering activities
* Assisting in managing project teams and delivering work within budget and timescales
* Providing technical support and liaising with project managers and stakeholders
* Reviewing deliverables and initiating corrective actions
* Creating and updating project programmes
* Recording and reporting delays and disruptions
* Pricing variations and assisting with monthly valuations
* Supporting site teams with technical and management input
* Monitoring budgets and reporting monthly
* Identifying training and development needs for yourself and site teams
Requirements
* Has experience in mechanical/electrical building services project engineering
* Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
* Is commercially aware and logical in approach
* Can manage sensitive information and work independently or in a team
* Has strong time management and technical analysis skills
* Can liaise confidently with clients and supervise teams effectively
* Is committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards
Essential qualifications and experience
* Previous project engineering experience
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
