Our client in Cirencester is an award-winning producing house charity renowned through the UK for its unique and innovative approach to theatrical excellent and problem-solving. They deliver the life-changing magic of live performance and will now hire a new Head of Development and Fundraising. The Head of Development and Fundraising will drive their mission forward with creativity, energy and passion. The postholder will principally cultivate relationships and secure funding with major donors – both existing and new to the organisation – exciting and delighting those philanthropists to give significant gifts at the five-figure level and above. The role attracts a position on the committed management team while also managing a small team responsible for donors, sponsors, friends and partners to the organisation. The selected candidate will have a proven track record of accomplishment in fundraising and will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking ideally within an arts fundraising setting. The fundraising experience and knowledge will be key too, with the postholder able to demonstrate a track record of telling compelling stories to captivate donors for revenue and capital fundraising asks. Above all, the selected candidate will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker, to match the ambitions and approach this organisation and its leadership takes.
