The role of Quantity Surveyor takes commercial responsibility for the contract performance for allocated works to maximise both turnover and profitability for contracts allocated.Working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors throughout the UK. The successful candidate will have experience as an established Quantity Surveyor within a similar business specialist sub-contractor or interiors main - contractor. You will take commercial responsibility for contract performance to maximise both turnover and profitability and will adhere to a robust commercial process, ensuring that the client obtains continued high quality, value for money and effective change management. * Monitoring retentions and preparing cash flow forecasts. * Site visits for measurements/estimating and client progress meetings. * Supplier order placement and negotiation. * Developing internal processes, systems, and reporting structures to strengthen the QS function. * Supporting the Directors in cost-saving initiatives and department growth.
