The Draughtsperson plays a critical role in the successful delivery of complex heavy engineering projects, transforming engineering intent into precise, high-quality drawings that drive fabrication, construction, and installation outcomes. The Draughtsperson ensures that designs are not only accurate, but buildable, compliant, and optimised for manufacturing and site execution. * Produce accurate, detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings for heavy engineering projects, including structural steelwork, mechanical assemblies, plant equipment, and large-scale industrial systems.
* Develop fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings that clearly communicate engineering intent and meet project, client, and regulatory requirements.
* Translate complex design concepts, calculations, and specifications into practical, manufacturable solutions.
* Collaborate closely with engineers, construction teams, and project stakeholders to resolve design challenges and improve constructability.
* Review, revise, and update drawings in response to design changes, site feedback, and client requirements, maintaining strict document control.
* Ensure all drawing outputs comply with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME, AWS or equivalents).

* Demonstrated experience producing detailed fabrication and construction-ready drawings.
