Financial Controller: Armagh Area Permanent | Full-time | Office-based | £dependent on experience Reed Finance is delighted to be partnered with our client, based in Armagh, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to manage their company's financial operations. Role Responsibilities: Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies. Coordinate internal and external audits and communicate with auditors. Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Enhance and maintain accounting systems and controls. Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory submissions. Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting. Track performance against budgets and conduct variance analysis. Monitor and manage daily cash flow. Prepare cash flow forecasts. Provide financial insights and support to department heads and senior management. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes. Supervise and mentor finance team members. Oversee training and development initiatives for the finance team. What you need to succeed: Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA), or QBE(preferred). Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. Proven experience in producing monthly management accounts, VAT, and payroll. Advanced skills in Excel and financial modelling. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
