About You
We’re seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Chemical Operator. Based in Torrington, Connecticut, you will safely produce adhesive batch formulations that meet quality, ISO, and internal standards.
Responsibilities
* Operate industrial mixing and powerlifting equipment following mixing instructions
* Use lift vehicles, power jacks, and drum dollies safely and effectively
* Accurately prepare and create finished goods by following Work Order procedures
* Maintain a safe, productive workplace by practicing proper handling procedures
* Manage inventory efficiently using FIFO and stock counts
* Improve productivity by prioritizing Work Orders effectively
* Investigate and identify sources of quality errors to reduce defects
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional credentials preferred
* At least 1 year of experience in material processing
* Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office
* Strong math and organizational skills
* Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs
* Ability to work independently after initial training with minimal supervision
Shift Hours
Monday - Friday; 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Compensation: $20 per hour
Note: Compensation varies based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. The listed range represents our company's salary range for this role.
