We are looking for a Perm Production Planner to work for our Client in Loughborough, which is a family-run business that has been successful in their field for over 30 years. As a Production Planner you will be responsible for the smooth running of all orders. Pay: £25,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience and knowledge Hours: 08:30 to 17:30 - Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 15:00 – Friday 60 minute lunch break 4 days a week is possible (Monday to Thursday) Responsibilities Place equipment and component orders with suppliers in the SAGE system under instruction from the Project Engineer. Monitoring delivery dates to ensure that deliveries are made on time. Keep in contact with suppliers as and when necessary. Attend weekly production meetings and give updates on the current situation of equipment for contracts with customers. Work with the Workshop Manager to ensure that any issues with delivery dates are quickly addressed. Convey information on potential hold ups to Project Engineer and advise customers of any change in delivery dates. Manage and monitor bonded stock.
