Would you like to join one of the busiest university summer schools in the country?
Teachers are required to have British Council TEFLQ status (e.g. DELTA or equivalent OR CELTA with relevant MA, OR relevant PGCE). Our programme includes a paid induction period which will prepare you to deliver our University English course.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including free self-catering University accommodation for teachers from outside the area.
You will join an encouraging team focused on helping students improve their English for personal and professional development in a university environment. Most of the students are not planning to join a degree programme after this course. Many students come from partner universities around the world and some are required to take the IELTS test at the end of the course. Teachers are well supported by the Programme Manager and Course Coordinators and will have access to a range of course books and resources.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
