They are currently looking for a Field Service Manager to join their UK team and lead a talented group of field engineers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with managerial experience and strong mechanical or electrical knowledge, even if that experience comes from another industry.
Overview
Lead and support a team of field engineers, ensuring operational excellence, technical support, and safety compliance.
Split responsibilities between office-based administration and regular field visits to customers and sites.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the engineering team.
Monitor performance, training, and welfare of the team, fostering a positive and safe working environment.
Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, performance, and technical expertise.Requirements
Proven experience in field service management, engineering management, or a similar supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical systems; rack and pinion experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience leading and motivating teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per year
