Electronics Engineer Stroud | Cotswolds KO2’s client, a well-funded and fast-growing startup based in Stroud, is seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who thrives on taking ideas from initial concept through to fully realised, manufactured products. The company is developing cutting-edge, low-power connected devices and is looking for someone with experience in acoustic sensing, IoT connectivity, and ultra-low-power design to help bring innovative products to market. The Role As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing next-generation sensing hardware. You’ll be involved across the entire product lifecycle — from early-stage concept and system architecture through to schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing. This is a highly practical role, ideal for someone who enjoys building and refining real hardware in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop low-power electronic systems for IoT applications Integrate and optimise acoustic sensing and signal acquisition solutions Create schematics and PCB layouts for embedded hardware Develop solutions using LoRa and other low-power wireless technologies Prototype, test, and debug hardware systems Support the transition from prototype to volume manufacturing Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware and product engineers Skills & Experience We’re interested in candidates with experience in several of the following areas: Microelectronics or embedded hardware design Acoustic sensors or signal acquisition systems LoRa / LPWAN wireless communication IoT device development Ultra-low-power electronics design Schematic capture and PCB design Taking products from concept through to manufacturing Why Join?
